The main reason for the K04 set up was the power from 2k-7k. If the bottom end is going to at least make up for some of the lack i would love to stick some tials on. I know this inst the exact forums for high dollar insane ****, but the people here r the ****. I have some time before the motor build its after the suspension and interior on the new ride so technically last cause it needs the most time and research. Also what are the benefits of a standalone ECU? Does it remove function from everything else in the car? I haven't done much research just saw it as an option and wondering your thoughts.

most standalones won't allow for things like heated seats to automatically turn off with the car. however standalone is more precise for tuning. if you do something simple like a VAST stg3 or AWE stg3 kit, you can keep all the nice Audi features while gaining tons of power. you could run a piggyback system where you get to keep all the nice features of the car and use a wideband 02 for more precise tuning
