Empty Cruise Control Fuse Slot

Empty Cruise Control Fuse Slot
I have an automatic 98.5 2.8Q A4 that I've owned for almost three years. The cruise control used to work perfectly, but now seems to be dead. I looked through my fuse box and slot #11 (which the manual associates with cruise control for automatic transmissions) is empty - it does not have the little clips that should hold a fuse in. At some point I was working on some other problem and removed, inspected, and replaced all of the fuses one at a time. Is it possible that I pushed the clips out of the other end of the fuse box perhaps?
I did a search and it seems some other people have noticed the same thing, but I was not able to see if there was ever a conclusive resolution (presumably some of them may also have had manual transmissions.) It would be really helpful if someone with a similar car could look at their fuse box and let me know if you have anything in slot 11.

No, I don't. And neither does the other person with a nearly identical thread on the same page. Check fuses 5 and 13 and if those are fine, it'll be time to look into other possibilities.
