Ecu is sketchy

Did you ask the seller if it was chipped? I mean you would definitely know it if it was chipped by driving it if everything else was ok on your car, but not if you have a boost leak. A stock 1.8t is slow to begin with so it might had been very hard to notice if you had a leak before. If this ecu is chipped it might be boosting harder/louder, but leaking somplace before it gets to the manifold and causing you to have these symptoms. Idk just wild guessing. You are way less likely to get a boost leak fault when you have one with AEB engines.

It doesn't seem chipped.
From my impression chips seem to kick in at low rpms but this one the boost kicks in if i floor it just makes noise and hardly increases the power if it doesn't decrease it.

Yesterday, at 8:53 it was runnig fine.
swapped the ecus drove it at 9:15 and the turbo spooled louder.
I bought this one as a backup to use for when i shipped my ecu to get chipped.
I was just testing it last night.

I'd check for a boost leak, definitely. If this ecu is chipped and caused a boost leak or a boost leak you had before to get worse then you might not need to send that other ecu out to get chipped! If the ecu had a engine faults when you put it in for the first time then it may have been running in limp mode (0-4 lbs of boost, scaled down fuel/timing.)
