Default Ecode led headlights I just bought

So I just got the ecode led headlights for my car and got them put in but the wiring is different? It's suppose to be plug n play but the harness is round with 8 or so pins. Anyone else have this issue? What do I do. Plus I got an hid kit n they don't shine like they do on factory. Please help ASAP. Thanks

Round plugs sounds like pre-facelift wiring. can you post a pic of your OEM headlights and then one of the new ones? Not sure what you're asking with the HID kit, they aren't as bright as your stock headlights? Did you have stock xenons or something?

I can't post pics from iPhone but my stock plugs is oval. What can I do to correct this? I don't have any question about the hids, I just bought a set of after market hids that r bright in stock headlights but not so great in newones. I can't eve hood the led up cuz harness doesn't match

helix=depo.

You're going to have to pin out the connectors and figure out which wire goes where, then clip the plugs off and solder them together. Another alternative would be to pick up a set of these:

Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Lighting > Headlights > ES#86 A4 European Headlight Wiring Harness - A4UROWIRINGKIT-A

and modify the headlights with them so you don't have to cut up the OEM plugs

the Ecodes are known for kinda "lack luster" beam patterns. Will not be as nice and clear as OEM

Not to thread jack but does that include both the Valeo and Depo...I've never even seen an "OEM" offering...everything I've seen is either Helix, Valeo, or Depo.

I can take a pic of the beam cutoff on my OEM xenons tonight. Having driven with both I can't say I noticed a HUGE difference in actual visibility, but I can tell you that the OEM housings are definitely better quality.
