Default Ebay FMIC install

Installed an ebay FMIC over the weekend (friday-monday) on my 01 a4. It measured 28x9x2.75. It shouldnt have taken this long but the map sensor pipe i bought off of ebay is worthless, i ended up cutting the flange off of the stock smic and jb welding it to the map sensor pipe. although its holding 17psi, this is still temporary until i can get my hands on something better. Another PITA was the secondary air pump. i ended up just taking it off with the bracket and deleting it. I used a 45 and 90 degree hotside and 45, 90 and map sensor pipe for the cold side. i used 2.25 inch piping for the hot side and 2.5 inch piping for the cold side to match the throttle body. supprisingly i didnt notice any pressure drop. It was a tight fit but i made it work. i had to cut some of the bumper support off.

heres some pics:

on a stock turbo like i am right now probably not. it does pull a little harder but that could just be because its winter time. i actually just ordered a gt2871r elim hence the reason for the FMIC.
