Dv vs Bov?
So im gonna get my audi 1.8t chipped.
But before i do i need either a bov or a dv, But the thing is i don't wanna draw to much attention to myself but i like the sound of blow off valves?
Is there a decently quiet bov?

U can't put a bov on an Audi. Audi turbo system is internal > means it measures n recycles the air/ boost it doesn't use. Bov is external> means blows unused boost/air into the atmosphere = screws up Audi turbo system. Don't know much about turbos ( I'm a 2.8guy) but I know that much. Look at the sticky about getting an Audi n look at turbo section for more info

Forge BPV for the A4 1.8t is FMCL007P or FMCL007PA(adjustable)
Forge also makes a splitter that works on the A4. Some people have even ran the Forge 004 which is a dual piston BOV.

I have the Forge Splitter and run it as 100% recirc, but the vta feature is semi-subtile, and doesn't cause any air metering issues with the maf/ecu. I've seen some people run a 004 with no issues and some who do have problems with it-but I think it is also very adjustable.
