yeah, you need the same dash kit that i used---> http://cgi.ebay.com/2000-2001-Audi-A...efaultDomain_0 but you have to have a stock symphony radio to be able to install a 7" DVD head unit, though.

P.S. Those DVD head units that you posted are pure trash, you shouldn't take a chance on those, their cheap and will probably break within a year. Your better off going Pioneer, they are one of the best brands for car radios, some things you can skimp on,a DVD head unit is not one of them

well..you could install a very good single din Radio, just because you can't install a in-dash dvd player, doesn't mean you can't install a DVD player at all.

It comes down to price, its possible if you have the money to spend but if your on a budget, just shop for a decent brand single din Radio

oh yeah, you have plenty to choose from with usb ports and such.

You are right about the ladies, loving the DVD in the car,i have to keep a stash of chick flick DVD's in the emergency compartment in the back seat,in case of emergencies!

Quick, she's getting bored, grab a dvd to entertain her ***! or even better...time to get her in the mood...grab a **** DVD in my secret, secret stash,in the glove box!

I am not sure,i know of that brand but this AVH-P4200DVD is my first DVD head unit,so i can't compare with other brands,if its in your budget,i'd say go for it,just factor in installation costs, new speakers all around,2 amps,1 for the sub woofer and 1 for the 4 speakers and see if you can afford it.

i could probably do installation by myself, would i really have to replace the speakers? and if so would i have to do it as soon as i put the deck in? sounds spendy
