So, its my first post here, but I visit the forum almost every day
so heres the deal, I got a b5 99/00 1.8 aspire MT and I was thinking how could I use my 2din dvd in this car. Can I buy the moldure or something?

i don't see why not, but theres obviously been some custom cutting in there by the looks of the chrome trim around it?
i have the pre face lift so i have no idea :s

Yes,you can,look at my signature picture with info. You need this Dash kit below. but i think you can only install that head unit if you have a Audi that comes with a stock symphony Radio and not a concert radio.

ive seen some pics of a dvd with a more "stock-like" frame, just cant find it
but it seems to me that the space from the first picture its too small to do the job

 

yeah,i can tell from the single din aftermarket radio,that's installed in that car,you won't be able to install a DVD head unit in yours.

 

yeah, mine came with the concert one so thats why I think its too small

 

did you click on the ebay like i posted? that double din radio dash kit is what you would need,if you had a stock symphony radio.

 

yeah I clicked but its just for the symphony, btw just a little question,
whats supose to be in the square on the top of the square that shows the temperature?
mine is always off(black) but seems like its missing something, I dont know
