If you do, pop your hood and check the firewall. There is a chance that the cable running to power your amp might be the caused of the leak.

Pull the windshield cowl piece and clean the crap out of the drains under the battery.

I had a similar problem. Woke up to a few inches of standing water on the passenger side only. Checked the window seals; nothing. It ended up being a bad seal on the bottom of the windshield; all the water running down it ended up inside.

heres the long version
i filled a hole that was in my firewall, the drivers side was dry(firewall hole was on that side) and the rear was dry, the front passenger was wet, and was visible. i also noticed water dripping from around the door. i put a towel down to soak up the rest, and prevent my carpet from getting worse, then it started to really down pour, i snapped a picture with my phone, im not sure why my car is leaking, its really annoying me.

Tweaked had the right direction to check. Be sure that the drain under the battery is working, and also the drains around the sunroof. I had a BMW which had a similar problem. Finally figured out that the drain at the bottom of the air-intake for the heater was the culpret...was filled with redwood needles, and when it rained water would fill the system, then leak into the car. Odds are it is one of those drains.

i cleaned out the drain under the battery the other day, but that was more towards the drivers side, this is on the passengers side. i want to get this fixed, otherwise my car will be a public pool every time it rains
