hey guys; I know this isn't a new question, but i want a nice standard double din look in my audi a4 1999, it is a Quattro and supposedly was the bees knees of it's time, it has the upgraded climate control and also has the fancy push rotate around ash tray near the handbrake, if I want a double din is it as simple as, getting a centre console from a double din 2000+ Audi a4 and a double din cage then changing that over then just plug n play???

there are 2003-2008 nice standard audi a4 later model double din modules on ebay, but I want to know how to adapt that double din to my model, or are all double dins the same size ??

I'm new to the car world, help is appreciated!

'02+ is the B6, won't even come close to fitting unless you put some serious hours into hacking the dash support and everything around it, and even then nothing will work anyway because the electronics are so different. You need the centre console, radio cage, HVAC unit (or just faceplate), ashtray, and shifter trim out of an '00 or '01, it's a direct swap
