Doing a K03 to K04 swap, need help
I found a K04 turbo online used but I don't know if this K04 will fit or not, it's a K0422-881. My engine is an AEB. I found a GIAC chip to accompany it also.
As a side question, do I only need to replace my oil lines during this swap?

And just to add, the GIAC chip is designed with the K04-0015 in mind. Usually the software is written to fit a particular turbo because it possesses certain flow characteristics. For example, the FrankenTurbo I run is somewhat a variant/hybrid of the K04-0015, so although it far outperforms a K04-0015 I can run tuning designed for it to a certain extent.

Metalman- Any trips to the dyno in your future??? im looking to run almost the exact same setup as you and am curious as to the numbers it puts down. I know you are FWD so the numbers would be alittle different, but still...

I ought to... But paying for things like clutch, new injectors (yet again, gonna be going 440cc and 3in MAF housing), and ECS Tuning AFPR makes justifying money for dyno time tough, since that's nearly $1000 just right there I haven't yet paid for. Not to mention the $4000+ I've spent on my car in the last 3 months... AND I'll be moving out from my parents house in about 2 weeks so I have to buy furniture, refrigerator, first month's rent, etc. If you'd like to sponsor me then I couldn't say no
