Do these bolts indicate subframe alignment?
I know there are those holes to slide someting through to check the subframe is centered, but what about those bolts near the check holes that are in those adjustment slots? The two pictures are the two sides of my car, it looks like one is further toward the end of the slot than the other.
Im asking because I was recently in an accident, got an alignment afterward and the shop said they had to slide the subframe to one side to equal out camber. I asked the body shop to check the unibody alignment, they said it was ok, but I think they were lazy and only straightened out sheet metal so the new fender and bumper would line up. The impact was the pass side corner of the bumper and fender, Im thinking maybe the whole frame rail got pushed back a little since the bumper shock is bolted to it. The car does drive straight and the steering wheel is straight, but Im considering going to another body shop to have it checked again, or should I not worry about it as long as the car is 4 wheel aligned? I read somewhere but cant find the post again that having the subframe shifted causes extra stress on the ball joints, this concerns me becase the front is getting clunky and I don't want to replace control arms if they are going to go bad again very quickly.

To adjust the camber of the front wheels, the whole front subframe is moved. There is not an individual camber adjustment for each front wheel. So the subframe is loosened and then shifted to the left or right. It adjusts the camber of both wheels at the same time.
