Default DIY Timing Belt Video?

Ok, So I am going to be doing a timing belt on an 01 A4 1.8T here in a few weeks for a friend. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in buying, for a low price, a DIY video showing you step by step how to do it. I would send it out via DVD or download link.

If there is enough interest I will spend the extra time to do this.

Let me know!

Josh

imagine if you had to pay to use audidiy.com . if its good enough you might get a few donations but you probably wont sell any, sorry. just do it for the fact that lots of people will watch your video.

Guys it's not brain surgery. It just takes time. Not trying to **** on your parade Josh, but would you rather mess with a video or use one of the several detailed DIY articles that you can print out and follow? Of course I know it would be a quality video if you had anything to do with it. I think an article would be the best thing, and you could still do that and take all the pics. The articles that are out there don't have the best pics. I bet you could make an ultimate article with real good pics. But I'm not paying for it We could put it in our DIY section and you'd get serious kudo's since it's such a common procedure.

of course people like onepoint8tee wouldnt want to buy a video like this lol youve porbbaly been a part of many belt changes,

but someone like me who has only had their car for a few months has no clue how to do the easy stuff without something to lead them.

I truely think if there was one for sale, over time you could definately make some money off of it... even if you get 2 a month @ $15 each thats almost 200$ right there, think of how long people will have these for! haha

can we start a group buy? jk

I'm saying what are you going to do? Go inside every time you have to do the next step and then press pause and run back out, etc.? Even if you have a lap top it will get messy and still take forever compared to just reading off some paper with good pics that you can throw away. I really don't think it would be fair to charge people for it because it's not even close to being necessary to get the job done, but it could be handy for some people.
