Default Dip in RPMs???

I am unsure if this happens to anyone else.. but..

car is idling, windows are up. I noticed if i hit the button for the windows to go up the rpms dip and you can feel the engine want to cut it. It's only for a second...

Is this a bad sign for my battery? Or is this simply how it works..

It also does it if i cut the wheel all the way left/right...

A blip in RPMs would be ok but the fact that it almost dies is bad. Do you have an OBDII or VAGCOM tool you could use? Is it showing a check engine light?

How low does the engine speed dip when this occurs? Mine might dip up to 100 RPM at times.

i personally do not have a vag com cable, but i have access to one, so i think ill tap into that this weeknd. No CELs though. the dip is only maybe a second, engine doesn't die either. Just a drop of 250-350 RPMs. Should i just use lemmiwinks or something to increase the idle speed? It idles around 900 rpms

Thanks for input guys.

Another quick question: if you rev the engine and release the throttle abruptly, how low does the RPM drop before it comes back to idle?

It doesn't drop lower then 800 or so when i rev it. It doesn't seem to dip when i rev it at all. I've only noticed the dip in rpms when i use the windows or sunroof. If its night time, i can even see the headlights dim down a bit when the rpms drop.

The window thing is odd, the steering wheel thing is normal. It even says so in your owners manual. Page 190-something I think, it says to not turn the steering wheel all the way to one side or the other and apply pressure, and if you do the RPM's will drop.

I would guess battery. See if you can get it tested at an auto parts store.
