Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Lighting > Headlights > ES#86 A4 European Headlight Wiring Harness - A4UROWIRINGKIT-A

You'll need a wiring harness for pre 1999.5. There's also a way to do it your self without getting a harness though.

Have you seen this thread: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/b5-...lights-177422/

The blinker bulb holder should fit but Krip is right about the other part. I would go with the adapter and try to get it from a part out rather than ECS

Why would I need a preface oft adaptor? My car is facelift, 2000 2.8. And the lights came with the blinker housing but the plugs on them are different also. I did see that thread but that doesn't help me. I have the blinker housing from my old light, but it won't fit in the depo, I will have to take a picture when I get home if you guys are still confused. Is it just that my headlight was u.s. Spec and the new one is European spec so they have different plugs? Thanks again

I have switched E-Codes to US spec headlights all the time. They are plug and play.

Unless your stock ones are either H7 and the Depos are D2S it vice versa. In which, you'll need to hack it. Like Skythe said, the blinker should fit regardless. Those are the same whether you have Xenons or H7.

yeah i was hoping that they would be plug and play but of course it cant be that easy! here are some pictures to help you guys out, the plug for the headlight looks the same, slips on but as you can see when i try to clip it they cath, thats why the plug is all chewed up on the depo, and the corner lights are just completely different, it looks like the new ones may use only single filiment bulbs. which doesnt make sense because i have DRL's

here is the depo headlight (chewed up from the plug)

The turn signal holders are direct replacements. See the three clips on the edges that form a sort of triangle? The white piece should literally slide into place just as the black piece slides into place.

For the housing plugs, they should be a direct fit as well. Maybe the depo light connector has a defect or the wire prongs that stick out aren't aligning correctly when you try to connect them. That's weird

yeah but if you look at the corner light holders, the prongs on the side are placed differently. the valeo wont go into the depo, and the depo wont go into the valeo.
i just talked to ecs on the phone and they said that there was a split in 2000.
they are putting together a set of harnesses. there goes another 150$
this makes me livid. they should have mentioned this in the description so i could have figured out what i needed before i ordered them!!!
