I currently have a 1998 2.8 a4qm and i plan on doing the post face lift conversion. i purchase a 1999.5 oem left head light for real cheap in great condition and plan to purchase a right one soon. I was wondering is there ne cometic difference between depo light. i plan to purchase a depo stock style headlight for the right becuase it is much cheaper..thanks guys

 

you'll need bumper fog lights, facelift hood grille, side markers, rear lights. doors and mirrors are different too. the mirrors look exactly the same but they are infact different. i believe the depo 1 piece euro spec light has a different cut at the sidemarker on the silver part.

 

so i should just buy another oem headlight?

 

Yes, the depo healights are a good amount different than the stock na headlights

 

IIRC the Depos only come in E-Code style in which there is no orange reflector.

Yes, those are the same as the ones the US-Spec B5's come with.

I completely forgot that Depo use to make US-Spec OEM style headlights.

 

wow i never knew they used to make US spec OEM lights. yes those are the exact same as the stock ones.

 

those actually look pretty nice. I wonder if people have problems with those ones fogging or anything or having a shitty beam pattern. I may have to do some searching on the forum to see if others have had any luck with those depo oem lights.
