Thats much better, but that one has a problem with tq beinga littlelow. Now can youfind a B5 running this well?
I can tune a B5 to run that well

That is of a B5 running a GTrs eliminator with a Tapp Auto tune.

isn't unitronic the best bt software to go with for elim kits?

It depends on the year, for the 2001 owners they can also go Revo which is the best software for the B6's. I have a customer that is going GTRS elim on his 2001 in the next 2 weeks and he will be going with the REVO BT software with 550cc injectors, HFC, downpipe and Neuspeed Xtreme turbo inlet hose.

It ran a nice time and peak numbers, but this is what im talking about. On his dyno, the power is way later with way to much lag compared to a full garrett. You will have peak tq sooner with a .64 2871r than that gtrs, not to mention far more of it. Not to mention, Javad at 034 is running an elim also

Basically imo, a full kit is a better choice for overall power/powerband with the ability to upgrade and the elims are a better choice for those wanting a slightly cheaper option and need to pass visual inspection. Both can make good times on the track also

After reading a few of your posts, I have come to the conclusion you have very little practical knowledge. Dyno's are a tuning tool and 95% of the time, we do not even use one when we are collecting data for REVO.

Cars are driven on the street, not the dyno, strapping a car to something that has little to no airflow, zero wind resistance and less than a variable load is not ideal for tuning.

I have noticed that you have manged to look at three dynos of three different cars and use them to try to make a case for the full GT28RS/71RS setup (which is 100% garbage).

First you mention that the power on my car falls off which is proven to not be the case, then you say the torque is to low on the second dyno and the third you think spools to late.

These are the true facts about the eliminator

1) More power than the full kit, period, the turbo may have a smaller housing (turbine and compressor) but they have more bottom and top end power than the full kit.

2) The full kit is a installation nightmare, the manifold leaks constantly and when it is not leaking the bolts that hold the turbo on break. the internal wastegate is much less eficcient than the eliminator and does not regulate boost correctly.

3) Spool with the GTRS is identical to the full kit. One each I see 20psi at 3500 RPMs in fourth gear, flat ground pull from 2500 RPMs, the full 28-71R sees 20 PSI at 3900 RPMs and the 71R Eliminator sees it at 3700 RPMs.

The fastest QM we have recorded on the B6 is 12.79 at 110, the fastest with the GTRS is 12.63 at 110, the highest GTRS trap speed is 111 (all done on the same track by the same driver, same day) The Eliminators also net a lower 60ft time consitently.

I love how you try to bash me like i have done you wrong. I have said nothing that should offend you. Also, you CONTINUE to talk that about the "full kit" meaning ATP and act like it is the only available setup. Not to mention, a .64 rs should hit 20+ psi by ~3200, not 3500 in 3rd + and the 2871r is closer to 3500. Atp makes lack luster setups and everyone with VW, EVO, or SRT-4's all know that. Stop basing all setups on them. Im glad you like the kit and think its great, but it still gets outperformed by a decent setup with equal tune time.

Not to mention this thread has more than turned away from the op requests.

yeah, this thread has turned a bit.

NE ways

Small update, I spent the day running around to different mod shops in Vancouver. I went to a whole bunch of shops and found anyone who could help me was only open during the week. I have a list of about 5 places who can help (some of which have done a BT upgrade on a B5) and will be bugging them on Monday.

Also, the guy someone(probably cincytt) reccommended as a GIAC specialist replied to my emails "right away" saying there isn't really a tune for a BT with GIAC and my year. Unfortunately GIACUSA has not emailed me back at all

Yeah that was me and for Jeff Moss. Looks like you will have to shell out more for a tune or buy a cheap stock ecu for ~$100 and sell your stock chip for around $300-350. Kind of expected that, but a tapp tune would be a better investment anyways.

the 630 unitronic file i heard is the best for the B5, but yet i don't know if you can get that with an Elim GTrs turbo?
