and if you decide to get the RS you may as well buy a gt2871r right?

not really. with the .63 you'll have to upgrade rods and the .82 has (IMO) too much lag w/out enough power to justify the lag.

not really. Thats only if you think you may want to go bigger and dont mind the extra 300-400rpms of lag. in his case, a 28r is plenty big and he doesnt want the added lag

you can only run a 2871r on pump and with stock intake man etc. Any more strain would blow a rod.

i think the 50 trim is a much better choice than the 2871r. no need for swapping internals, much cheaper, similar power, and only slightly more lag.

All turbos are oil cooled. The gt turbos are also water cooled unlike the T3 turbos.

The RS has far more potential than the 28r, but the RS is $1100 and the 28r is $800. If you dont mind spending the extra $300, the RS is a nicer turbo.
Well, if I'm planning no spending 3000$ I don't mind spending another 300 to get the gt28rs turbo, so long as I don't need to spend major cash on everything else just to get it instead of the gt28r.

Yeah, I don't want to go any bigger then gt28rs, like cincyTT saidlag and response are a big issue for what I want out of my car. The majority of people on here w/ BT's seem to have done the gt28rs so that means I will have more help doing this myself

So is it decided, gt28rs, I think it is.... Now to get all the parts I need.....
