Exclamation DDM Tuning HID arrived damaged, seeking advice

Hey guys,

So my DDM Tuning HID kit showed up today, all of the stuff loosely crammed in a little box with some wadded up brown paper on the top.

Upon close inspection, the little tube that sits to the side of the bulb had a chunk missing out of it. See pic below.

Should I even bother trying it to see if it works, or should I just RMA it?

Is DDM Tuning even worth trying to work with on something like this, or should I just order another kit from VVME and chalk it up to experience?

Definitely worth returning IMO. VVME are god awful with returns. I went through 3 ballasts from those guys, and their return policy is crap. If you have a defective product, they have you buy a replacement at full price, they'll ship it to you, at which time you're supposed to ship the broken one back--at YOUR cost. Whenever they get the broken one (no telling when that might be, since you're shipping to China) they'll check it out and if they decide its their fault its broken, they'll refund you the purchase price of the replacement.

At least DDM tuning are on the same continent as you

Do you think there's a chance the bulb will work as is? I don't want to go through the whole RMA process if there's a decent chance that the bulb will still work.

It's possible, you may as well try it out before you bother sending it back.
