I believe pullacowonaski has the wood trim and it is over $100 from the dealership. I won't ever buy parts for my car from ebay.

I correct myself from before, there isn't a "special" tool. You can use a trim tool, but it will still break the clips.

A new cupholder will run you about $85
JB weld is the way to go! JB weld is stronger then the plastic they use and will end up w/ a BETTER product. If you got to a reputable shop most of them will say they can fix it that way or replace it and 95% will have u glue it.

ebay has a bad rep because there are enough ricers to mess up the market. there are actually good stuff on ebay if you know where to look. you can always make a post and get our opinion or maybe one of us has had experience with the seller.

OP: how far is your cupholder going in? if it's sticking out about an inch or so, the gear mechanism in there is probably loose and fell out of it's place. the cupholder comes out by the pulling of a rolled up spring which is quite a biotch to put back on once it's taken off. as for the top trim piece, i've taken mine off several times, just use multiple screw drivers to spread out the force. also, they make a trim removal tool which looks like a super mini crow bar end, it works wonders. i couldn't tell you where to get one of those as i want one too lol

also, you guys are nuts lol. i've put a RT44 drink from Sonic in my cupholder and it holds fine. just acts like it's about to snap though lol. oh and maybe try drinking less sugary **** and more water in bottles that you can put in the place on the door ; )

pullacowonaski, wow... there's a lot of "senseless drivel" in this thread. Sorry about that. But have you actually found out how to fix/remove your dash cup holder? If not, here you go.
