From what I understand, this is under 'normal' conditions. When cornering, Quattro applies more torque to the front wheels because they are rotating more than the rear (they are traveling a greater distance) which is most certainly why peep feels as though he is driving a FWD car. Apparently I was wrong, but I think it should be 33%/67% front/rear.
I'm pretty sure Quattro is more than just hooking up two axels to the same power source and making them spin; believe it or not, it's adaptive.
Or you can tell all the torsen people at AZ they are wrong at this thread:

Oh, and also read about Quattro on Wikipedia

Yes under normal conditions B5s have a constant 50/50 distribution of power to the front and the rear. It is adaptive and when a wheel starts to loose traction, it will put extra power to that wheel.

I got rolled up on by a cop tonight while I was attempting to pee, saying he was responding to a truck and a car racing, and drifting. He then saw the marks from outer wear on my tire and accused me of drifting.
I laughed and told him I had an auto quattro, and I couldn't do burnouts. He gave me **** about my front mount and insisted I was lying. Awesome. At least our cars look like awesome drift cars.
