Could someone help me identifying a problem?

I thought it was pretty f'n outrageous too...till I went to second shop and they were even worse. Guy didn't even cuddle with me when it was done.

Just checked, it was $250. Sorry. That included the part. Still seems like a lot. Its the only work I've paid anyone to do on it in the 100,000 miles I've had it.

damn dude your flex pipe collapsed it looks like. I wouldn't drive it till you get the new flex pipe man.

UPDATE: Check a few local chains like Munro and Leopold who were quoting like $400 and $600 to replace the whole flex pipe trying to rape me without lube. Checked a small exhaust shop I heard were real good and they told me they would just cut the flex piece off and weld a new one on. Total was $180, they put some new support brackets on towards the back end as well that were bad. It was done in an hour right there on the spot. Quiet as ever now. Next is to deal with the valve seals.
