coolest euro plates...what are some good ideas?

I'm not familiar with John boats.
Currently I'm paddling a Dagger Prescription 6.9, its a good compromise between aggressive freestyle and forgiving beginner design, though I would much rather have a fully fledged playboat. I'm on the class IV-V level as far as skill, I only bought the boat because it would be comfortable for long, multi-day trips with my family's raft. I'm also pretty tall, and in my old boat, I would have to stop every hour or so to stretch and relieve the pain. It got so bad, that I would physically pull my legs and feet from the boat, and I couldn't feel the terrain I was walking on.
If you're interested in whitewater, you should look up Nantahala Outdoor Center in North Carolina. They have awesome courses, amazing instructors and its basically an outdoor sports hub. They're great.
Pertaining to the OP's topic... I just bought my plate.
