Coolant question

Coolant question
My recently purchased A4 has green coolant. I'm considering flushing it and replacing it with G12. If I do, I want to be thorough and avoid mixing the different coolant formulas. Searching on this site, folks sometimes recommend doing a "chemical flush" for thoroughly cleaning out the cooling system. Is there a specific product that is recommended for doing a chemical flush on an Audi?
Thanks for any help.

The previous owner of my car mixed regular coolant with G12 and it turned to peanut butter. 3 expansion tanks and four coolant system flushes later and it still isn't right. I've been told that draining all of the coolant, then refiling with plain distilled water, run the motor for a few minutes to circulate it, then draining again is the best way to go. Repeat until the distilled water comes out as clean as it went in, and then fill it with 50:50 G12/distilled water.

There is a block drain somewhere on the engine - find that and drain from there as well as the radiator each time, so you know you're getting it all out. CCA4 is correct with the procedure. Make sure to run the heater while doing this so you clear the heater core as well.

you can run the green coolant all you want. if the previous owner did a good job of flushing it, go ahead and keep it in there. but as the others said, if it was mixed, get it out of there ASAP.
