Question Coolant Issue

I tried searching already but it wasn't helpful. I vag'd my car today because i had a cel, and found that my brand new maf is not working for some reason. I have also noticed that the car doesn't cool down after i drive it, and the engine bay is steaming hot. I popped the coolant reservoir open and noticed that the fluid is milky. Now i know the G12 fluid is pink when first poured in, but should it get milky? Maybe something here could be my cooling down problem, a bad pump? The coolant sensor works fine and displays correctly on the dash, indicating that there is no problem. Only when i park the car, i can smell what seems to be the coolant and see that the engine is not cooling down. Thanks for any help in advance!

How is the engine oil level? Milky coolant could be from oil mixing in with it. It is possible the oil cooler right above the oil filter is bad. I am not sure what you mean when you say "the engine is not cooling down after I park it" If the engine is off, how can it not cool down?

oil level looks fine, the oil could be mixing but im not sure on that. Any way to check? I was trying to explain that the engine is way hotter than usual, and i can smell coolant.

what color is the coolant now? i don't think oil mixed with coolant could turn into a lighter color. are the temp gauge reading ok? you can flush out the coolant and fill the system with just water and see what happens.

have a compression and leakdown test done to make sure your head gasket isnt on the way out. youve been around here for 3 years you should know to provide some information about your car when you post by now. if its a 1.8t check the oil cooler.

Yeah i know, i was in a hurry when i wrote the post. 2001tqm around 90K miles. I will check the oil cooler tommorow, and see in what condition it is, as well as the compression tests. I'm due for a tb replacement next week, so this is a good time to get everything sorted out.
