My 1998 A4 has the Concert tape as standard.

Is the Concert CD player a straight swap?

My system is non BOSE, but it has the active rear speakers.

Can anyone comment on the quality if the CD player over the tape?

Are they the same make/internal amp or a different unit altogether?

It doesnt have a CD changer button? I thought all you need is to get a CD changer to put in the trunk.

If you want a deck mounted CD player, you'll need the Symphony stereo as they were the first to have that. Should be plug and play.
