It's just more reason for me to do the antenna mod to my car... All I have to do is get the dang thing in the air and I have 11 lifts for that but I am too lazy to do it LOL.

I have heard claims of 600 feet but idk about that lol I would be more then happy w/ 100 feet. Which 3 button would I need to order to make this work? My original is so worn and beat up I really wanted to replace it anyways.

Where did you buy the remote? I'm looking for one as well. Do the FCC numbers on your remote and the remote that you originally ordered match up?

I'm trying to find a replacement myself, and I can't find a straight answer on here at all. Some say a 3 button will work to replace my 2 button, and but I'm getting conflicting information all the time regarding the FCC ID of the remote.

The FCC IDs are identical except for the last number. The new remote is a 3 and the old remote is a 4.

Just to be sure we are talking about a kit that would work w/ the 3rd button on a 3 button key right? I thought most remote start kits had there own remote.

That's the same scenario I'm looking at too. The old remote is a 4 and the new a 3. Have you tried programming yours to work with the locks yet? Does it work?

Also, are you using your actual key or did the new remote come with a blank that you had (or will have) cut? I've heard about this little chip inside the plastic part of the key that if not programmed by the dealer, doesn't allow you to start the car.

The new one came with an uncut blade but I don't want to cut it if the remote isn't going to work. I'm still trying to work with the company and see if they will correct my order before I do anything that won't allow me to return the key.
