Alright I've got a stumper. Whenever I start my car, after it sits for more than a few minutes, it cranks hard for about 30 sec, idles rough for a couple sec, and then runs fine!! I have new plugs, tried changing the coolant temp sensor, tried letting the fuel pump cycle a few times before starting, and nothing has helped. Its almost like it dumps fuel when I try to start it and floods then starts and needs to burn the excess fuel and then runs fine. Anyone have any new ideas for me?

 

does it smoke black? have you checked with the vag-com? it could be the injector, if you havent check that out. I recommend checking the logs on the vag.

 

I'm wondering about a leaking injector too. It could definitely be that based on the symptoms.
