I think to get the low look without coilovers, H&R race springs would be the way to go.
can u post a side pic of your car so we can see? i want some reference points from diff company brands... thanks

I neglected to take decent photos after the install and for the life of me I still haven't gotten around to it. I'll try to take some decent photos in a bit to help give you an idea.

I'm still on the original 16x7 5-spoke wheels as well so you can get an idea of how the stock wheels will look. Hopefully I'll get my new wheels this winter, so I can take better photos next spring!

sorry for the cellphone shots, can't find my digi right now. I promise to do better photos when I find it, especially after I paint the front and rear rings.

as you can tell, the gap gets reduced, she sits nicely and has an even gap all around. The front sits a little lower (my forefinger is a little pinched) Like I said, I'll get better photos by this weekend if the weather holds.

H&R sport springs and Bilstein shocks for lowered cars. the drop is quoted at 1.3" front and back but I think the car settled a little more than that. I got a good deal on the shocks at Tire Rack. I think MJM Autohaus have some packages worth looking at too. Like I said, I'm very pleased with how the car looks and how it rides. The car handles better in corners but is still smooth on the road. I'm happy. If you want lower, then definitely go with the race springs. I can't remember how much lower it'll put you.

I think both are competitive on price, you'll have to check if there is any difference. I have ordered parts from MJM in the past and they are a stand-up company. Top-notch. you can get squared away on both sites, meaning you can get the whole set-up in one spot, however I believe MJM has free shipping.
