ORIGINAL: qUaTtRoA4

VMAXX spring rate is stock spec rate....they will feel just like your stock suspension....instead of tightening up your ride...it'll feel exactly the same...from what I have heard the VMAXX coilovers for the A4 are trash....they will work, but they are more of a show thing, then a performance enhancer...

if I had to choose between tein and VMAXX...i would choose tein everytime....

I plan on going bilstein w/ a set of race springs...whatever works tho...

gl!
Totally agree. The vmaxx are for the DD car that is looking for a drop at a reasonable cost. If you drive the car hard, teins are a better choice. YOU = person shopping for coilovers.

Kemp, get the teins and be happy.

so nic, If I wanted to have my car sit right about where yours is, what c/o would you suggest getting? do you think the Stasis Superstreets would be a good fit?

pretty much any coilover should be able to achive this, mine are up to 2.5" drop, and i still have about an inch and a half of thread left up front

i am honestly not impressed with the stasis street sports, they are nothing more then koni coils with a different name, and a higher sticker price

well i hear the tein coilover can be redone to have the dampening

but ill go with tein, cincy would you like to give me a hand on the coilovers?

and i have 18" rims and they are 8.5 wide, what would be a nice ride weight for looks and performance and without rubbing? i will do autox eventually

but how hard is it to get them all even?
