Default clutch upgrade

well its about that time where my stock clutch is just about gone from launching it too many times. ive decided that i wanna save up and buy a new clutch before i even start modding anything else (including getting a chip that works). i searched around a little and couldnt really find much info on it, but im just looking for brands that build...i guess stage III clutches, cause i need something that may be able to hold around 350hp down the road.
also i noticed some people saying to upgade to a lighter flywheel, any tips on that would help too.

Just get something that will hold the amount of tq you plan on making. Southbend and Clutchnet make some nice kits. If you are a memeber of vortex you can get an extra 25% off clutchnet orders.

plenty of threads out there. southbend is my recommendation. for the price they hold the most power and retain the most stock pedal effort. And with clutches its about torque not horsepower. Even tho a t3/t4 and gt28rs put out similar numbers the 28rs is putting way more stress on the clutch. stage 3 will hold up to a BT setup and still pretty much retain stock feel, stage 2 is most like stock but i wouldn't put a BT on it, except for maybe an elim. Stage 4 the pedal effort is more noticeable but not unbearable, and you will hold up to anything but BAT setups. Stage 5 is what i have, the pedal effort is different than stock, definitely harder, but i actually like it so much more. You can launch like no other and have full confidence your clutch can take it. Everything is so much more solid, and it'll hold up to anything your gona be doing to the car. And actually the clutch in my stock mustang 5.0 was harder than this clutch

yup i got their 11lb fw. the only downside to it, is it chatters if you have the AC on, or if your right next to a wall, but its not even loud at all. unless your trying to hear it, you wont even notice it.

i found a stage III kit that holds 450lb/ft and it comes with a 12 lb. flywheel from AWE. anyone else use this kit? im only asking cause i normally dont buy kits, but i wanna make sure this has everything for the shop to do the install. is there anything else i would need to upgrade/replace like pilot bearings ect.?

i have an article (somewhere) from european car that said if you are going to replace a dual mass flywheel, you should use a replacement the same weight as the D/M. their 'worries' were 'increased transmission wear' i find this hard to beleive, but i can say that i have lightened flywheels in both my 86 jetta and my 16V rabbit truck with no issues. anyone smell BS? when the time comes i will almost bet i will go lightened on my 1.8 TQ. i love the 'spool up' on my NA cars, so with a turbo, it must be even better
