Clutch Slave Cylinder help
#11
final question, the clutch slave cylinder uses the same tank(DOT4 fluid) as the brake does?
because some of the cars I have worked on had 2 different tanks( 1 for brakes and 1 for clutch)
sorry for the 99 questions, but im just trying to do this right.
thanks

Why would it? They both use the same exact 01A transmission which means the slave cylinder will be in the exact same spot on a 2.8 as it is on a 1.8t.
Only difference is that the 2.8 will have an exhaust pipe on that side of the transmission.

ok, the salve was installed and works, thanks for the information.
but, the hardest part of this job was putting the slave back in because it needed to be compressed then bolted in. it was a pain in the ***.
I'm working on a DIY for the Clutch Salve Cylinder replacement!!.
