clutch questions

My last car was a 99 Camaro Z28 manual. You could actually feel that the clutch pedal was attached to something and it started working pretty much right off the floor. IMO all manuals should be like that. Any of the aftermarket clutches for A4s fix it to be like that?

They are attached to something. It's just not mechanically attached to the clutch itself.

Theres a clutch line that goes from the clutch master cylinder straight to the throwout bearing, theres no clutch fork or slave cylinder in the 98 and ups.
