I know sometimes I can be a little slow on the uptake, but bleed the brakes?

The clutch and brakes work off the same hydraulics/master cyl.

Really? I've not been under the hood of a manual Audi yet, so that is quite surprising. Most of other vehicles just use a separate clutch master cylinder and reservoir.

Thanks for the info.

Many cars use a common reservoir for the brakes and clutch. Bleeding the clutch often requires bleeding the brakes first to ensure no air has been trapped in the system, especially after changing a component of the hydrolic system. Where have you been topping off the clutch fluid??
