I have a 2001 audi a4 automatic v4 would a cluster from a 2002 audi fit ? And would it work ?

 

I highly doubt it, you're best to stick with the same style cluster.

No such thing as a V4 A4 either.

 

Well the cluster is from the same car but one year older ? Mine the LCD screen is crack

 

What country are you in and what car do you drive? A B5 or a B6?

In North America a 2002 A4 is generation B6, the B5 was sold up to 2001.5. I understand the B6 was available earlier than 2002 in Europe.

The 2002 B6 cluster is nothing like the 2001. It doesn't matter that it is "only 1 year older".

Lastly, you can get the LCD replaced for about $100, or choose to do it yourself for cheaper. Replacement screens are available.

Yes, all '01 clusters were the same, so it should work perfectly.
