Climate Control Lights flickering, then off
First off, I'm new here, and this site has helped me a lot just through searches I have done. This issue has not been addressed, or if it has, I can't word the search correctly to find it.
My 1996 A4 Quattro has the climate control lights flickering in the temperature area. Sometimes they will go out and I'm left with faint white display, but the red lighting is gone. I removed the climate control, and moved the lights from the buttons to the center and the center lights moved to the buttons, and the buttons lit up, so I guess the bulbs are good. What could be causing this? The climate control functions like it should, but the lights go out and come on whenever they feel like it. It's near impossible to see the display when the lights go out.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. If this has been covered, please give me a link. I've seen the write up on how to solder the ribbon cables, but that was if the Climate Control didn't work, not if the lights for it didn't work.

its a common issue with athe 12V believe me ive had 2. its either the bulb is loose or you have loose soldering in the head unit. this DIY should help.
