Clicking noise near back of engine?
#11
Unfortualy I filmed that after the car was cool as I didn't want to drive it hard after that sound. When I drive it hard the sound is loud, and I mean LOUD. Louder than the car engine normally sounds.i may be just overreacting, I have never owned an Audi before this one so I'm not expert, but it just doesn't sound right at all

Ok something is wrong, even after normal low rpm driving for 10 minutes the click got extremely loud. I'm going to buy a new pump and gasket, any estimations on how much a shop would charge to replace it? I normally do maintanence on my own but i don't have an engine lift or car lift, or the time to do it myself

Request
Hi,
I have the same problem with my 2000 audi A4 B5 1.8t FWD
As soon as the temp hits 90 degrees, it starts to click louder and louder...
I changed speed sensor, fuel pump, changed spark plug (Platinium), changed oil, put octane in fuel, still have the same problem....
Did you find any solution to your problem?
