Default Cleaning inside of headlights?

Just bought some OEM ecodes...there is some dirt buildup on the inside of the headlight. Is there any way to remove the clear plastic piece of the headlights? I would like to get some of the dirt out of there.

Yes. You'd need to put the housings in an oven.

If you put them in the over for around 7mins at 210 deg F this will loosen the sealant and you can pry the lens off.

No it works. I did it on my 300ZX but I just propped them in the oven door rather than put them all the way in the oven.

I've opened headlights literally dozens of times. What I do is stick one on a cookie sheet and just put it in the oven. Take it out with oven mits, and use a chisel to pry the lens off, moving around the perimeter of the lens.

I'll probably give it a shot guys. Thanks, hopefully I don't burn the house down.
