Default chips for b5 2.8

so im like 100 dollars away from getting my suspension(hrbilsten combo) and ive started to do some research on maybe chipping my car

and i found 2 different chips

GIAC and speedtuning

does anyone have any experience with these and is one better than the other

and theres a GIAC chip for the tip that will make the shift time to .2 seconds
is that just a fluke or does it really work as its advertised?

thanks guys!

tip chip really works and neither of the ecu chips are gona do much, but speedtuning is supposedly slightly better and its much cheaper, and the only one i would suggest trying. tho i wouldn't get your hopes up

yup you got it, or just enjoy the car and drive it. but people are really loving the speed tuning chip for the 2.8, id say go for it.

tip chip is a definate, as for the engine chip speed tuning, just because its cheaper, both giac giac and ST do the same thing, not alot of HP gains but it remapps everything for a better throttle response, more power int eh tourque band and pretty muh make the car feel better, also i believe they raise the top speed limiter.

im thinking of getting the speedtuning as well. I also read it somewhere here that its either the speedtuning or the tip chip...The 2 does not go hand in hand. Can anyone confirm this?
