Default chipped ?

I just got my apr chip and I gotta say its awesome. On the aeb motor they dont have a 93 octance setting, only 91. So my question is will 93 octane do any dameage to a chip set for 91, Theres more pumps that carry 93 than 91 in my area. But if I have to switch I will go out of my way to find 91.

No damage will be done. If that were the case then you wouldn't be able to run Premium on a car that can run just fine on Regular.

Ok thanks. I called apr and got a lady from sales on the phone and said I should only put 91 octane. But I see your point

If your car is tuned for 91, running 93 will do nothing beneficial. Why do you want to run 93?

The only place I can find 91 is sunoco and there 91 is the price of 93 else were. But I guess I will stick to 91.

If you have to drive out of your way to get 91 then you are just wasting gas IMO.

You should be gapped to 0.28 with your chip. NGK BK6REs are good plugs to go with.

all these questions could be answered with a quick search.... going up in grade will not hurt a thing, going down in grade will cause premature detonation and will pull timing... long story short you will waste gas

1 step colder than stock and .28..... i run copper plugs, i like them alot better than platinum or iridium plugs.... once i go bat i will possibly look into tri fire or something along those lines, but i think mike said he is running coppers.... but his car is a dedicated track car
