god i miss my WS-6! plus their forums were amazing, and the car was made by Americans!

You didn't really answer this post. APR's tunes for the B5 1.8T use stock fueling (injectors and fuel pressure regulator) so make sure that's what you are using. And you also didn't comment on the age of your primary oxygen sensor.

There's more activity and less noobs on VWVortex and Audizine.

Make a couple threads there and maybe you'll figure out the problem.

Disappointed by the truth? There's a couple handful of guys on here that are knowledgeable, everyone else just bought their car and is just learning. Vortex and the Zine have a lot more people that know what they're talking about, generally.

Kotex is a joke lets be honest. Zine some of their guys know their stuff about the same handful as here. MG is my personal fav right now :P
