just need help with some items guys, I bought a engine oil dipstick from ecstuning a while back but it had 2 orange studs on the stick, tried replacing it but it wouldnt go could you help me out? Also would I need a dipstick funnel?

Other thing I want to replace is the Tie rods, would this just be a direct replacement if I just bought this? I dont plan on doing this myself thats why I asked and I dont want to give this to my mechanic to find out I need another part.
