Default Check engine code - P0134

Hi Guys,

Need some advice so I can pass emmissions. Currently I have a 98 a4 28.L 30 V 5spd quattro that is throwing the P0134 code. Let me preface this by saying I recently revamped my exhaust system. Replaced the cats with high flow cats, deleted the big resonator and replaced the muffler. I also replaced the front and back 02 sensors on the passengers side. The car was running smoothly until one night on the highway I was challenged by a kid in a mazdaspeed protege. Needeless to say he was dusted but the next day I recieved the check engine light so I replaced the sensors. My mechanic has checked for valve leaks replaced the 02sensor again and still the P0134. My next step was to see if the ECU has a problem. Although I have been getting the 1N2 prompt since I have had the car (purchased in Aug 2012) and it has never gone away.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
SBM007

Check your O2 sensor wires and make sure they aren't frayed or broken somewhere.

Follow the wiring. That code is for the front O2 Sensor so if that has been replaced check the wiring and see if there is anything that looks suspicious.
