Cause the chassis to get loose? Umm okay. Maybe the control arms will wear prematurely, but I've never heard of a loose chassis.

Not all springs/shock combinations are alike. A lot of people love the H&R/Bilstein combination.
I hated bilstien h&r combo. But my a4 is also Rwd so most things that work well for awd don't work well for me. Also the racelands are my 3rd set of coil overs on my b5.
Started on tien lux master springs wasn't low enough.
I had st's and didn't like them. Sold them bought nex coil overs. They were good but I blew out the rear bushings every 6 months. So I Sold them went to bilsteins h&r combo.
Rwd a4 felt like a unstable pig with the bilsteins h&r and I couldn't do the fender gap..,
Sold bilstien 2 weeks ago installed racelands
I wish I would have teken pictures of racelands before I installed them.
Adjustability wise racelands are adjustable from stock hieght to slammed.
Though I can't comment on how they ride up high.
My nex's and st's. made my car feel like a Cadillac in winter mode all floaty and and high.
And this is over 4 1/2 years of owning my lady

^^ He speaks the truth.

I've had H&R race springs and bilstein sports struts for almost two years now and I love it. I opted to buy the ecs coilover adapters because it gave me a great handling set of "coilovers" for under $500

As I just said in another thread, if you get aftermarket springs youve got to get aftermarket struts because the stock ones just cant handle it.

Where did you get the combo of struts and springs for so cheap? I can't seem to find struts anywhere that are cheaper than $500. Then springs are at least 2-250.

I bought them used, if you check the vortex and audizine classifieds enough you can find some good deals.
Bought a set of H&R coilovers last week for my brother for only $450

I've been checking the classifieds for the last month. I don't know how I missed that.
