My central locking door pump was running continuously before it finally stopped working. tore it apart and discovered pump was shattered in housing. I purchased a used one on ebay. It works...sort of. The doors usually unlock quickly but when I lock them the pump runs for a very long time, cuts out sometimes and the door locks go down VERY slowly. Bad pump? Person I bought it from said they have another one if this doesn't work. Maybe the vacuum line is bad? I'm thinking weak pump. runs like my old one before it went out. Also keyless entry does not work. Do I need dealership to re-program it? please help!

 

take out your old motherboard, and install it in your new(used) pump. you have to cut some wires, but it is cheaper then reprogramming it. then you will trick your car into thinking it is your old pump, and your remote should work

 

or switch old pump back to yours.
