CEL when idling

CEL when idling
I've had a CEL that I can't get rid of them, swear I think my car is haunted...
It flashes 75% of the time when I'm stopped... like at at red light. Never flashes when I'm in motion or even slowing down. Just when I'm stopped.
I took it to the dealership. I had random misfires but they replaced plugs and wires. They also said my CEL would remain until I replaced my ABS module. I did that too (well, re-built, which I highly recommend to anyone with ABS issue).
Any ideas? Will get it scanned over the weekend.... Can it be misfiring only at idle? My mechanic says it may be the fuel injectors (have been using Techron too).

We don't even know what enge/yr you have. Those are basic things people need to know before attempting to help. And then there's this:

go to autozone and get it scanned (its free) to see which cylinders are misfiring. then swap the coilpacks, start the car, and scan it again. if the misfire moves, it the coil pack, if it doesn't then its the plugs. make sure the plugs are gapped correctly as well.

He said he had already changed the plugs. If the car accepts the gas quickly and doesn't stutter during the drive, it could be the engine idle valve which might not give enough fuel while idling. This might cause the engine to almost stall and misfire. I'm not sure where it's located on an Audi but cleaning it might work wonders... just a random guess though.
The air mass meter could be broken, too. That would cause similar effects.
Do you notice any change in MPG? Should be getting less...

My bad.... it's a 1999 A4 Quattro V6 (believe it's AHA engine). Like I said, plugs and wires were replaced by dealership. They also checked coilpack and that was not the problem. I bitched them out, so they are going to re-diagnose my car for free next week.... but thanks for helpful responses.
