Default Are carlssons good wheels ?

So I have had my A4 for about a year now, this is my first time putting it up on the furum. I just got the wheels from an Audi mechanic off of craigslist for 350.00$ they are 17" carlsson Rs. I know there made by BBS but besides that I don’t know anything about the quality. I was considering getting them repainted in hyper silver, this however will set me back 900.00$ are they worth it? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Nice looking car. You need a little drop tho.

Carlson are pretty good wheels. They're more popular among the Mercedes crowds.

Why not try to paint them your self?

That's a pretty good DIY.

You should try doing it your self first. It shouldn't cost you too much to try.
If you're not happy with the result, take them to the pro. But IMO it's worth the try.

$900 bucks to paint????? There is a guy here in North Jersey who will powder coat them for $300 for all 4. At that price I would look for a new set of wheels or at least try to paint them myself

All you need to paint wheels is masking tape, red scotch brite scuffing pad, a rag, some laquer thinner, and a can or two of your favorite color heavy duty engine enamel. That's what I used and it's held up pretty well.
