What else have we got? Sway bar end links? And forgive me if this is a dumb suggestion, but could it be something not actually attached to the car? I spent a good amount of time chasing down a random clunk coming from my right rear, turned out to be one of the shackles on my tow strap banging against the wall of the spare tire well

 

I want to say its a spring... just old and tired!

I am just going to dive in and do my subframe mounts and shocks and struts I am looking to go with what Nick Broderick is on his coils where very comfortable to ride on and look pretty good
