Default Carbonio Intake - missing piece

By looking at somone else's Carbonio intake, we noticed that on ours, there is the piece missing that connects the intake with the front radiator bar (to actually draw in cold air).

With the piece missing, it currently draws are from the engine bay.

Does anyone have the piece?
Can it be made up?
Is it part of the Carbonio, or part of the OEM intake?

I have a couple extra ones if your interested in one. I've never really worried about the air that is going to go through a scorching turbo tho. That's what an aftermarket intercooler is for lol. But I guess it helps a bit.

Well, you are right. We didn't even know that we missing it. But to put everything together how it is supposed to be, why not do it.

I'll PM you for the piece.

I got your pm, of the 2 that I have I can't find the front piece of the nicer facelift one, but I do have a complete pre-facelift one that I sealed up the seems with jb weld. I guess $20 bucks is fair and I think shipping is 11 for UPS ground according to the site. Here's a pic, dogs foot not included

Hm, now I am baffled. I was thinking I only need the short piece that connects the end of the Carbonio to the opening in the radiator support?

And that would fit then into the Carbonio? Assuming the JB weld can be broken off cleanly.
Looks way longer.

That's prolly why I don't have the front piece off the other one, cuz it was from my friends facelift with a carbonio. So I'm assuming it will fit.

Still looking for this pieces. From what I was told, it is a stock intake piece????

I don't want to 'experiment', so 'plug and play' part is desired.

Would like to get it done, even so it may not be the most important piece on the car!
