Hi,

Does anyone know what can cause my car lighter to not work. I am curious if I have to replace the whole component.

 

Does it push in a hold? If not, there are little tabs that you can tweak inside the socket

Have a meter? You can check for 12v in the socket. If there, its prolly the lighter itself (the coil witht he handle). If not, check the fuse.

Thanks, it was actually the charger that I plugged in that was busted
